Joan M. Schaefer (1921-2017) was Dean of Women 1955-1992 within the USC Office of Student Affairs. This collection includes professional files of documents and correspondence associated with Schaefer’s role as Dean of Women, her involvement with USC Mortar Board and the USC chapter of Phi Beta Kappa.
